Acer kg251q 240hz review-It's the cheapest 240hz montior for a reason Yes, it's 240hz monitor It's a great gaming monitor It's better then any 1080p 144hz monitor But it's pretty cheap in terms of build quality The stand does not swivel left or right All it can do is pivet the display up and down I was disappointed that it couldn't turn left or right I had wanted a 240hz monitor to gain an advantage (reduced input lag) over others in fps games and I since I constantly read from online forums and heard from youtube videos that all 240hz and 144hz tn panels come from the same korean manufacturer, I figured they would all have the same quick input lag regardless of price and went ahead and purchased the cheapest 240hz
Re I bought Acer KG251Q 240hz To enter the service menu for the Acer KG251Q 240hz Hold the left most button while the monitor is OFF, press the power button WHILE holding left most button, press the power button again while holding left most button AFTER the monitor turns on The left most button now opens the factory menuA 240hz monitor is a luxury item that is nice, but not at all necessary I hardly noticed a difference when switching from 144hz to 240hz, but when I switch back, I notice a difference It did not make a noticeable difference in my gameplay, but just made the game look smoother and become more enjoyable to playReally good deal for a 240hz panel, I'm stumped that I can't find a single review on it anywhere online Even searching for the model number nets the 75 / 144 hz variants of it and Acer's website is not very clear either I doubt it will affect the 240hz prices in the short term but it is a sign that the prices are on the verge of reason
